Kinoklub Karlovac is a member of the Croatian Film Association, the Karlovac Technical Culture Association and the Karlovac County Technical Culture Association, and the Croatian Youth Network. It is also a member of the international association Youth Cinema Network.

In 2007, the first Youth Film Festival was held in Karlovac, and then in 2008 the Four River Film Festival was created, and both festivals are still organized by Kinoklub Karlovac with the Croatian Film Association. In 2011, the Karlovac River Cinema was organized for the first time – a unique open air cinema that we organize during the summer in the Karlovac County.

One of the longest-running education programs organized by the Karlovac Cinema Club is the Film Art Course, and in addition to it, education for teachers and professors through specialized workshops is also important. In addition, smaller cinema programs have also stood out, including: Film EU Week, Film Easter, Karlovac Film CROgram, Cinema in the Theater, etc.

In 2018, a book by Igor Jurilj entitled “Film from Zorin’s House to Edison; Reception of Film and the First Karlovac Cinemas in Local Periodicals, 1896-1920” was presented.

The Cinema Club also launched Film Under Severe Experiment (FUSE), a film festival for young authors that focuses on experimental film genres combined with fiction. In 2020, FilmEk was launched – a film-eco camp and a competition dedicated to non-professional works created using the Stop Motion Scene stop animation technique, which grew into a festival form in 2021.
