How it all started
In June 1999, a school section was founded within the Karlovac High School under the name of “Videodružina Gimnazije Karlovac”. Three years later, the establishment of a formally legal association began, and the Karlovac Cinema Club was born. The association was officially founded on March 12, 2002.

What we do
Since then, the Film Art Course has been held every year, providing all the theoretical, technical, and organizational-logistical support needed by novice filmmakers for further, independent work on their own film. We also hold various workshops for children in elementary schools and specialized workshops for young people, along with educational workshops for teachers and professors, and throughout the year we also create original films by young filmmakers.
Vision
A playground where audiovisual dreams come to life.
Mission
We build physical and virtual platforms that push the boundaries of future audiovisual expression.
Values
Cinema Club Karlovac continuously supports the creation of A/V content and transmits the love of film from generation to generation, creating a space for stories and creative freedom. At CCK, we foster long-term and participatory approaches within Kinoklub, and we are dedicated to the people who, together with us, build CCK as a reference place for educational work with young people.
